Pagani Automobili Pagani Zonda created the Tricolour on the occasion of celebrating the 50th anniversary of “Frecce Tricolori” as a tribute to the National Team of aerial acrobatics.

In 2010, the season’s acrobatics Frecce Tricolori reaches its 50th anniversary, which will be celebrated on September 11 and 12 Rivolto Airport.
The Frecce Tricolori (Italian, literally Tricolor Arrows), officially known as the 313th Training Squadron Aerobatic Team is the demonstration of the Italian Air Force, based in Rivolto Air Force Base in north-eastern Italy’s Friuli- Venezia Giulia, Udine. The band was formed in 1961 as an Air Force team, replacing the previous teams that had been sponsored by various commands in the late 1920s.
The team flies the Aermacchi MB-339-A/PAN, a two-seat aircraft capable of 898 mph, the sea level, with nine aircraft and a solo (the greatest number of aircraft of any aerobatic team in the world ).

The Frecce Tricolori belong to the legacy of the entire Italian community.
