Now BMW has confirmed that the car will indeed bow at Auto China 2012, otherwise known as the 2012 Beijing Motor Show, which kicks off on April 23.
The wheelbase on the model has been extended by 11cm and it will be available with a choice of three engines. The BMW 320Li starts with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 184 PS (135 kW / 181 hp) and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft) of torque. The BMW 328Li will use the 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine that boasts 245 PS (180 kW / 241 hp) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The range topping BMW 335Li is blessed with the twin-turbo 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder unit that generates 306 PS (225 kW / 302 hp).
The standard sedan and full-hybrid versions will also join the 3-Series long-wheel-base model in Shanghai. They will also be accompanied by the 6-Series Gran Coupe, M6 Coupe, X6 facelift and the BMW X3 xDrive28i, all of which are celebrating their Asian debuts.
